They sicken! They weaken! Their leading us to our own destruction!
No compassion! No humanity! A clear sign that somethings broken!
But together! We’ll awaken! We’re here to take back our future!
Their greed! Their hatred! These interests keep the war drums beating!
Air pollution resulting from the use of farming pesticides
Killing workers in Brazil who grow the flowers that we buy
While in Africa the workers who slave twelve hours underground
Paid two cups of rice a day for every diamond that is found
In India entire families are known to kill themselves
Because genetically engineered crops stripped them of their wealth
Chinese immigrant workers are forced into crowded caged cities
Taken advantage of, de-humanized, left to die in their own disease
Because one in four people live on less than a dollar a day
The companies that exploit these people will keep it this way
Under the pretenses that they’re here to improve their quality of life
While only bringing poverty, poor working conditions, and lies.
The time has come now where we need to take a stand
Against these profits of death and destruction of our land
This pillaging of resources is crime against us all
Starvation of the world’s poorest by the greedy fucks in power
The working people in the world, they have the real power
All their wealth and all their belongings sprung from our hard work,
And when we all realize this obscurity, this theft with open arms
we must unite, we will over come
Nobody is going to save us, except ourselves.
