Paroxetine Death
Flustered by frustrations, you can’t think straight
You’re searching for an answer before it’s too late
You can’t handle the problems you have
You just wanna get back to the life you had
But now everything is piling up at your feet
And you can’t keep running from it all
Your mind’s eye clouded by depression
You can’t get a grip on yourself
You know you’ve gotta stop your problems from progressing
So you turn to the people you think you can trust for help
These doctors swear an oath that we can trust them with our lives
Claim they want to help but all they do is prescribe
The pills that will get them the best pharmaceutical bribes
They’re enjoying their kickbacks while we slowly die
Fuck what your doctor says, Paxil kills
You can’t beat depression with prescription pills
Suicidal ideation? I’d rather be depressed
Pharmaceutical inebriation, side effect death
When they started using Paxil back in 1996
Its non-habit forming formula made the drug a hit
10 years later they were forced to finally admit
Withdrawal symptoms from the Paxil were making people sick
Then comes new information about the suicidal risks
And they tell us that the drugs not safe in high dosages or for kids
Hope you kept your receipt if you wanna join the folks who sued them
Because if not a hundred bucks is all you’ll get for retribution
These greedy corporations take advantage of the sick
Prescribing us an easy answer without knowing all the risks
Depression makes you vulnerable and you’ll do what doctors say will help
Just keep in mind their interest lies in money not your health

The Unwitting Accomplice
We run the frontlines for the corporations we resist
We transfer money from consumers into their pockets
They buy our time, our pride is sold at such a petty price
We’re paid to keep them rich, our paychecks keep our hands bound tight
We boycott countless companies based on personal morality
We refuse to give them our own money
But we’ll gladly hand them yours with ease to get paid
We make it easier to buy their useless fucking merchandise
A familiar face for you to greet, a façade to help them mask their greedy ways
We’re corporate soldiers dressed in cutesy uniforms
A plastic nametag that will leave you feeling nice and warm
Our mission is to represent a faceless company
A friendly smile to gain your trust and take all your money
Sellout
You’re just a sellout
Another sellout

Profits of Death
They sicken! They weaken! Their leading us to our own destruction!
No compassion! No humanity! A clear sign that somethings broken!
But together! We’ll awaken! We’re here to take back our future!
Their greed! Their hatred! These interests keep the war drums beating!
Air pollution resulting from the use of farming pesticides
Killing workers in Brazil who grow the flowers that we buy
While in Africa the workers who slave twelve hours underground
Paid two cups of rice a day for every diamond that is found
In India entire families are known to kill themselves
Because genetically engineered crops stripped them of their wealth
Chinese immigrant workers are forced into crowded caged cities
Taken advantage of, de-humanized, left to die in their own disease
Because one in four people live on less than a dollar a day
The companies that exploit these people will keep it this way
Under the pretenses that they’re here to improve their quality of life
While only bringing poverty, poor working conditions, and lies.
The time has come now where we need to take a stand
Against these profits of death and destruction of our land
This pillaging of resources is crime against us all
Starvation of the world’s poorest by the greedy fucks in power
The working people in the world, they have the real power
All their wealth and all their belongings sprung from our hard work,
And when we all realize this obscurity, this theft with open arms
we must unite, we will over come
Nobody is going to save us, except ourselves.

Recluse
Someday somebody’s gonna drop a bomb
And it won’t matter what we’ve said
No more classes, no more races
We’ll all be equal, we’ll all be dead
When private failures become the public’s expenses
Billions of dollars we will create
So you can still buy products from the companies who run us
Forcing you into dependence on the state
Taking your ability to bite the hand that feeds you
Their goal is to silence the voices of dissent
When your next meal come from a government program
It will assure your compliance with the state
I hear the phone, but I don’t get it
I don’t wanna talk to today
I see the front page, but I don’t read it
I don’t wanna hear what they have to say
I hear the headlines, but I don’t listen
I don’t wanna know anymore
I see the people outside my door
I don’t understand them

Blood, Sweat, & Tears
It makes me sad to see
How hard you have to work to prove to yourself
That your life really matters
To leave behind a legacy is to become immortal
An unrelenting urge to become
A glorified version of yourself
Maybe not who you truly should be
But who you could be
That matters to you
Sacrifices made along the way
Forgotten as the years go by
The search for gratification never ends
Aim for the highest point with the shallowest of intentions
Fulfilling expectations and anxiously awaiting approval
